I thought that too and hell I still think I'm not ready for it at times. But once you go through four years you'll be excited to be able to get out in the real world. And I am taking Biology so basically pre-medical.

Blood really doesn't bother me and depending on what I do I wouldn't have to deal with blood on a day to day basis. I was thinking of being an Optometrist (eye doctor) but well see where life takes me.

Then again, the eye is very interesting.
I can't learn much about medicine outside of my researching on wikipedia and those doctor sites on Google. At least I learn how some things work with anatomy.

Anatomy is so interesting I love learning about all the different structures. Especially because it helps with drawing if you learn where everything is and what it does.

Yeah, it also helps when you want to be a little realistic in literature. I can't help but feel annoyed when someone isn't accurate when a character gets injuries and they don't put any logic into how they are received.

Yeah I agree there too. One of my OC's is a medic so knowing anatomy and medical terminology along with military terminology is high on my list of things to know XD I know I hate when you're reading a story and are thinking 'You would be dead' XD

Same here, an fc of mine is a healer and I try to make sure that the methods are realistic. Though a common mistake I find in books is the blow to the head thing. If someone were to hit you over the head and you pass out, then that's a serious concussion.

Yeah I know I actually bought myself this huge Special Forces Medic Handbook it's super long and has everything you'd want to know about everything a medic does like suturing and diagnosing. It's seriously amazing. And its published recently so the information isn't dated.
