There's no catch, honestly. Vicious Hammer allows you to add at max 2 more slots to an item. It's an NX item.

Another Warhammer 40,000 fan great stuff m8, my fav armies are the Space Wolves and Eldar I used to play it all the time but am starting to get back into it now thanks to Dawn Of War.

I used to paint warhammer myself, a few years back. But I ran out of paint/money/time so had to give it up.
I didn't play at all though. I was in it for the painting. I'll post some shots of my painting soon I hope. Look out for them if you're interested
