you are an outspoken person who is clearly intelligent, but if you share no art and show no soul, then maybe you don't have one

Could you do me a favor?Β

I need someone to post this on Winter_Phantom 's profile page (he blocked me for simply debating him) tell him it's from me.

Again this is simply a request I'm not telling you to do anything.

just let it go

it has happened to me many times
two narrow minded people can have an open minded debate

but most people are too insecure for that
too judgemental and simply not sharp enough

we people can't keep up then leave them behind
but remember that can become a lonely place

Oh its not simply the fact that he blocked me it's the fact that he replied as if he were still debating then blocked me so I couldn't respond. Such childish tactics must not go unpunished.Β

i enjoy a debate

and i know that generally people bail out

i will not bail out
and am quite prepared to argue for something that i don't believe just to keep it going
it's a great way to learnΒ
i now believe that it is as worth fighting for things that you don't believe
as much as for things that do believe
and if you believe that, then you will believe anything

believing everything is the same as believing nothing
and it is a profound place to be

the strongest faith never gives up
because it knows it is simply evolving

what is faith, but the belief in truth
and if people disagree then there is doubt
and without doubt
truth is stupidity

we are here for the purpose of refining truth
not just exploiting the crudity of it

I always enjoy debate (and playing devils advocate.) I do it a little too much especially in my ethics class where I swear there are times when this black chick in my class looks like she wants to kill me. And I'm sure at least half of my sociology class thinks I'm a full blown racist (that teacher just had to bring up white privilege) social justice bs is a huge pet pev of mine it's way up there with socialism, historical inaccuracy, civilians trying to comment on and tell LEO'S how to do their jobs, and of course the big one gun control (don't even get me started on that shit)

To be honest I'm quite open to the possibility that I don't. I judge things based on whether or not they work. Human suffering is bad but it is sadly inevitable. Your never going to make everyone happy and progress is always purchased with blood sweat and tears.

Progress and happiness are very different things. Progress is much easier to achieve. All you need to do is to move on, walk away. Leaving blood sweat and tears behind you, everywhere you go.

It's also the more achieveable goal. You see happiness involves giving people what the want and what they need. Problem is most people don't even know what they want let alone what they need. Too many people think with their hearts and not enough with their heads.

No it's not! Happiness is about accepting what you have. You seem to have mixed up greed with happiness there. An easy mistake for a capitalist.

Greed? I don't aim to be Rich friend. Far from it I aim to be a LEO. That's middle class pay at best. Like I said I just want to support my family. In my opinion Happiness comes from realizing ones goals. Β

encapsulation doesn't work with the corruptible idiom.

you achieving your goals doesn't make anyone else happy
happiness is bigger than one person getting what they want

a shared happiness is exponential

If you go around trying to make everyone happy your just going to pass a whole bunch of people off.

Something i have never understood:
in a referendum
half the people vote for, half against
the one with the slight majority win

justice would be to do both things

in democracy usually it is the minority who get what they want

as you said before, it is all about the odds
but the odds can be played wiselyΒ

there are 2 people 1 apple
we toss a coin for it
you call heads, tails win
i take the apple
cut it in half
who won?

Both or neither depending on how you chose to look at it.
