heh? by the way you wrote that I deduce that you also keep the seventh day sabbath. (Although there is a good chance my deduction is wrong) but if you do are you SDA by any chance?

and I can't beleive someone actually noticed that video I expected 99% of people here to ignore it... ok that may be an over exaggeration but not too far off from the truth.

Thank you! Well, technically I've been drawing since I was a wee babu, and it's a continuous process of learning and getting better. Been on dA for a few years, though. 
Yeah, the comic is a little rough-draft personal project of mine that I've been chipping away at for a while now, trying to grow as an artist and storyteller.

at least you're progressing, I tried making a manga but stopped cause I ran out of materials and my digital style was not suited for my way of making comics. I even tried making a light novel but it just wasn't my style. I just can't seem to be able to complete the stories I begin.

I don't really get the whole concept of "drawing seriously". I started doing "commissions" when I was 8. Does "drawing seriously" mean when I actually started getting good? Because if that's the case, I don't think I'm there yet.  
There are a multitude of ways to tell a story with art. If you've got a story that you really want to tell, maybe you've just gotta find the best medium to tell it with.

XD your definition of good is different from another person's. to someone else you probably are already past good it depends on person's perspective. of course with your own art you'll probably never view it as perfect cause since we make it ourselves we will always see the flaws in them. it's like how we know the flaws in ourselves that others can't normally see and because of that the way they view us is different from how we view ourselves.

what I mean by drawing seriously is aiming to improve yourself with every drawing. compared to just doodling in class, of course one improves even just having fun doodling, after all with each drawing one makes it's some experience gained. the difference between one and the other is that since you have a goal and strive for it you improve faster then when you're just fooling around.

...I'm probably making this explanation more complicated than it actually is though. I have a terrible tendency to over complicate something that is easily explained in a few words. =.= Although you probably realized that by the time you read this XD

you got a commission when you were 8? nice! I rarely get any commissions. T^T

Well, at 8 years-old, commissions were more like, "Hey, I'll give you a dollar (or a bag of M&M's) if you draw [insert Pokemon or Sonic the Hedgehog character] for me," or something.

At 8 years I don't think I did much drawing... at least I don't remember.  I did make these super hero comics when I was younger. the main character was named Dinoboy. XD Though I don't remember when I made it, actually I have a terrible time remembering what age I did things. probably because I didn't pay much attention to my age maybe? actually I barely remember anything of my elementary school days =.= I'm fairly certain that most of the time I was just playing around though.

do you get a bunch of commissions now?
