And so what? You can write.
The extras are bonus, I'm excited about it being done at some point in the future, slowly unveiling what the heck it all means.

Having the fun of exams, and all the unwanted stress that precedes them; but they're over now, so I'm having a couple of weeks of writing, mostly a gnarly novella and a gossipy short story with a murder at the end.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to it.

just had my exams and did a thoroughly mediocre job! 2 C's one F, and one A (in math???). Luckily that F was dropped so i still had 3 A's and 1 B for my final grades. Now it's summer and that means no more sleep because i just can't sleep during the summer, so i'm looking for a nightjob, i want to be a package handler at ups from 3 am to 9 am everday for the rest of my life, my truest dream. Gonna be radical.

Hi Dirty,
Thanks for the favorite on "Oasis." I am going to answer your long message soon. I need to devote enough time to it. I really appreciate the trouble you went to write it.
I haven't forgotten about your book cover and book of poems. I am most patient. But lets try to get it done before I croak. XD

Hi, I just kind of blew through you portfolio of pictures. I enjoyed going through it. bit I gather you are more into poetry.
Unfortunately, there is no way I can read very many of your poems, time-wise. Would you be willing to list for me some of your favorite poems?
Thanks.

I'm definitely more into poetry that i am into drawn/painted art. I guess my gallery reflects that, since i've stopped messing around with it. I still do some things, mainly for cover art for my personal music projects and some little designs here and there, but i'm a poet at heart.
i've linked some of my favs on your page!

It is this way for a lot of us (ding one form of art on the side, while pursuing other things). I worked for a living by going to sea on supertankers. But I did art stuff on the side, mainly metal sculpture and art (like sailing ships from metal rods), some milling and machining art, etc. Did you know that if you mirror finish steal smooth enough, on two or more pieces that when you put them together they cold weld themselves together? You could make some really cool things this way.
Even when you work as a graphic artist, there is a bunch of drudgery work you do to pay the bills, while your real passion waits.
------------
You have artistic talent in the graphic arts, but your main drive is poetry, and this is a really good thing, having multiple talents that is.
I do wonder though if you are over-critical of yourself concerning your graphic arts. Because your passion is in poetry, your other talent is simply slower to develop. Your art work shows your inherent talent. Just because it is not as good as you would like it to be, does not mean that the potential is not there. Doing the graphic arts thing may be more awkward for you to do, compared to poetry, but that is just a matter of passion and practice. If your passion was for graphic arts, you would be doing it all of the time, the way you do poetry now.
I imagine you brain is in poetry mode most of your waking hours. This world can always do with more poets--Right?
I will read some of your poetry soon and will write back to you about it.
Take care.
