yea, I'm not the biggest animal lover, but that face reminded me of my little kitty who walks around thinking he's an 800 pound tiger

what up what up? I'm not much of an artist, but I love drawing monsters (especially in class).

Just to let you know, [link] was a great mathematical representation of Zero-Two. The theory is even more strongly emphasized in the latest game of Kirby, "Kirby Returns to Dreamland", the final boss, Magalor's second phase showed a smile, that soon resembled Zero-Two's introduction.
Very good explanation!

Thanks, I never thought anyone would notice.
I love glitching reality, and seeing what happens when you do so.
It started with glitch city in the original pokemon games. I forget how you get there, but it's a space that is filled with random tiles. You can't escape from if you don't have a warping move, such as fly. Then Giygas.... I think I was 6 when I watched my brother playing it. It is a kids game, with the friendly upbeat music and cartoony graphics. Then my childhood was obliterated as I could do nothing but sit and stare as the final boss looked like a vagina with an eyeball. Then the real fight started... I see you had Giygas in your favorites. You must have had a similar experience.
What made Zero-2 and Giygas, and to a limited extent, glitch city so powerful is the overwhelming feeling of being way the fuck out of your comfort zone, that safe feeling of 'normal', if you get what I mean.
Overtime my love for freaky glitches turned into more intellectual glitches. It's a mathematical law you can't divide by zero, and another rule that I like to hypothesize breaking is that the coefficient of friction must be non-negative and between 0 and 1. Look at carmageddon from GTA IV on youtube. Now imagine the universe like that. That's the sort of things I get giddy over.
Sorry for the rant, been meaning to say it.
To be perfectly honest, after kirby 64, I lost interest in the Kirby series. You have to understand that Zero-2 scared the shit out of me as an 8 year old, plus the nostalgia of the game itself means a lot to me. I won't drop $55 bucks on the game, but I'll give it my time by watching a playthrough.
Again, thanks for the appreciation.
Haha, the sentence above can be rewritten as 'I appreciate your appreciation of my appreciation of Zero-2'
Peace

Nah, no worries. I haven't had the time to write a good reply back. You have to understand, I'm going for a Naval Architecture major, which is a bachelor of engineering. I barely have me time, let alone other duties. I'll probably get around to giving your reply proper attention this weekend.

Haha, no problem, I felt it as being an honor to hear repressed thoughts from another human. It is true, the idols of That-Shit-Scared-The-Crap-Outta-Me honestly could be Zero-Two, Giygas, and odd glitches that could be a secret coding in Pokemon games, as well as many others.
The reality of my deep unconscious (dreams and nightmares, I just like calling it that) is that I'm focused with secret codings, even though I don't solve many puzzles, I find it as much as a game within itself to understand what I'm trying to comprehend as being the true form of a thought. Sadly, I can't grasp it most of the time.
As much as "I" could repress it, I must admit that I never met those idols in my childhood, I only found out about them by YouTube videos and research, around the age of 14 (what I am now). I wanted to see Giygas for my self so I downloaded an emulator and the ROM and started playing it from Giygas' lair (I didn't actually want to play the game, but I found that unfair so I sat through a speedrun in 1 hour of the game), I immediately recognized the entrance as a sort of vagina because of its suspicion and odd shape. I entered with my curiosity beside me and also recognized the "intestines" beneath me. I saw the devils machine and fought Pokey like any 8 year old would (also being curious of the "Pokey Means Business" SPC). After a few minutes my jaw dropped in emotion as I was startled by what was on my screen. "A screaming patient" I thought. But I also thought of how Giegue looked and then I noticed the two pointy ears above the face. This must've been some sort of form of Giegue. Revenge maybe? Was he remorsing and decided he had one final option to show Ninten and his ancestors revenge? IDK, I never played Mother 1.
As for Zero-Two, I never played the games that contained its ancestors (Zero, Dark Matter, ect...) so again I did some research. As I finished, I asked my brother if he could get the game to be played directly on the Wii. He succeeded, and I didn't want to skip on this game. So, as brothers and sisters, we took turns collecting as much as we could of the crystals. We ended the game from defeating Miracle Matter, and missing quite a few crystals.
I was explaining that this is the "false" ending. Later, we returned to collect "all" of the crystals and again they told me to defeat Miracle Matter since he was such a pain-in-the-ass. I defeated it, and finally we were able to see the true ending. We went to the "dark core?" and soon I met King Dedede to swing his hammer and fling us up. I honestly was not expecting this to be the entrance, I only remember seeing the boss fight on a YouTube video(s).
I saw the disfigured spear with a smile and thought nothing of it, until the smile soon transformed into a blood soaked eye. I was also explaining that this boss may contain blood as circles, which we remember from playing Mortal Kombat 4 on the 64. I shot the "crystals?" from what I think was a fork in Kirby's hand. And defeated Zero-Two, I saw him explode with light, but I also noticed that he seemed sad as if history repeated itself. But again I thought nothing of it... and I did what I did in the past, I did some research.
(I added random paragraphs so it wasn't too difficult to read, it was for me)
That's how I found that explanation of yours in your other account. That's also why I appreciated it so much.

Hello Cypher, It's been a while. How have you found the books to be?

I'm sorry. I know I promised to read the book, and trust me, it's still in my 'to read' pile, but I simply haven't been in the proper mood to read it. If I ever do get around to reading it I will definitely give you a message, but until then I'm searching for a philosophy that I can believe in without feeling guiltily stupid.
In terms of sci-fi, I have recently been just starting to 'watch' star trek, and by 'watch' I mean put on with the volume up loud so I can listen to it while doing other things. I have too much undiagnosed ADD to sit down and watch TV.
I would have wrote sooner, but I lost my account. I was on a training vessel from June 23 till August 6, and my deviant art account logged me off and I couldn't remember the username, let alone the password. I 'found' my account again by finding an old comment of mine. I saved the username, though, so that won't happen again.
I just moved in today to my dorm room at SUNY. I'm thinking about taking only 15 credits this semester, and if that so happens, I will have ample time to do things such as read the book.
In the meantime I can recommend the 'Tao Te Ching' and 'Game of Thrones'. The Tao Te Ching is a quick read in terms of word count, but I think the way to properly read it is to read a chapter (which is 2-4 paragraphs long), contemplate it, read it again, and move on if you cannot discern anything.
Game of Thrones is just a candy novel. It has no real value like Tao or Xenosaga, but it is a thrilling dark fantasy with several engaging main characters. I quite enjoyed it during my training time. HBO did a tv series on it, too.

Hey Cypher, good to hear from you again. Yeah I watched the HBO release of the 'Game of Thrones' as you said, fantasy dark candy but its worth the watch definitely, and from what I hear doubly worth the read.
Believe me, i do the same with TV shows. I'll see if i can find Tao Te Ching some time and read it.
I recommend 'Exiled to Prism' if i haven't recommended it to you before, Alan Dean Foster is very much a Cultural anthropologist before he is a writer and it shows wonderfully though his fiction. I basically love his body of work, though Prism holds a special place in my head.
By the way do you use skype? If so I'd like to exchange skype names with you some time. (though a note of course)

Oh hey, I didn't forget about you.
But I have not been doing any reading at all, whatsoever. When the semester is over (last week of April), I'll finish it, but between courses and pokemon b&w, and unfortunate family incidents, I haven't had the time.
Anyway, I'm the kind of person to buy multiple books before I finish reading another, so I have stacks and stacks of books I have yet to read. So, I was shopping the other day, and I saw that Orson Scott Card added another book to the Ender series! It's called Ender in Exile, and it takes place immediately after Ender's Game. It's going to be months (if not years) before I pick it up, but why don't you get one in the meantime?
As for creatures, I'm working on a new monster. I've been thinking about Renaissance demonology lately (as inspired by the Bartemaeus Trilogy), and I wanted to make my own demon. I don't tell this to people (for reasons you will clearly see), but when I make a science fiction creature, there usually is some small (trust me, SMALL) essence of sexual images involved. And for the upcoming demon monster, It was inspired by the pokemon Giratina (in body structure only), but the front of the monster is basically a woman with her legs splayed out, but the rest of the centaurian body makes it look like she's not splayed, rather it's the natural position of her front-most legs.
Wow, I use way to many parenthesis (I think it's the ADD: always 50 different thoughts in my head (at any given moment)). I guess it adds personality (sort of).
