DivineCrawd is the name I go by here, but I sign my pics Edward. About me...well, I love simplicity. To me the less a drawing has the more it takes your imagination to work it and twist it to your fashion. I feel simpleness in a drawing is just as hard as complex colors and blending. I think it was the artist Matisse who was known for loving simple drawing and painting, where basically he would do a self portrait of himself and it would take basically 12 seconds and did it with one line. His paintings are powerful yet are...simple in a way. I want to take that and show it with my art work too, although I rarely use color, just graphite, although I plan to play around more with Prismacolors and paint programs. For some reason I prefer sketches to the finished work, they feel more alive and human. Well, to wrap it up, I am a simple sketch artist who likes to push himself with new challenges.# Comments
