England is ok, it's quite pretty in some places. I'm about an hour away from London, going there tomorrow in fact to do some shopping in Camden 
People are generally quite apathetic here; some can be quite rude, but most are "busy" when you go to their doors. Must keep on trying though!

Well, Burlington Iowa is quite interesting... most are apathetic as well, but a lot say they have their own religion... they're too busy... or they just plain yell at you to go away! It depends on the social standing of the area... I agree we have to keep trying but sometimes it's down-heartening! Most just don't plain care, but we do have four studies coming to our hall that are pretty interested in the truth in fact one just asked to become an unbaptized publisher but we'll see! My sis-in-law isn't baptized yet but she just asked to get baptized in October... we'll see!!!! She's on DA and she's very good!

It's a shame really because they don't know what they're missing out on. I agree, it can be a bit depressing at times, but the one thing that really keeps you going is the thought that despite the negative responses, you're still out there putting a big smile on Jehovah's face and giving him a reply to Satan.

The only place I have ever been to is Sicily (I've driven through France & Italy but never properly visited there) because that's where my dad comes from, so we go back to see the family.

I've never been out of the Midwestern United States!!! I live in a bubble!!! LOL! I was just wondering do you have an accent? I hope that isn't inappropriate to ask, but I love the Englander accent! I think it's nifty!!! People say that kids from Iowa have accents but I don't think so! I'm going to South Dakota next summer to visit my husband's fam, but other than that I have to plans of traveling except to New York in a couple of years to see Wallkill and Bethel, and my uncle who works at the New York Stock Exchange... he's an elder in an ASL group in New York... it's cool, but I want to travel someday!

Yeah I do have an accent I guess. A very British one, lol. I was having this discussion with my friend the other day and we were saying that the Surrey accent (where we come from, lol!!!) is the proper British accent. It's not posh but it's not colloquial or anything. It's just very english
