# About me

I have enjoyed drawing since I was a kid. I have lots of other hobbies including reading, writing, card making, walking, cooking, knitting, sewing, gaming and I am fascinated by other cultures and the natural world.
I am married and live with my husband hironozuka.deviantart.com/ and our hamster called Faye and two albino ferrets named Alfie and Shiro.
My favourite things to draw can change depending on my mood, but despite my love of animals I rarely draw them! I particularly enjoy drawing manga/anime characters and my favourite tools are simple pencils and biro, followed by pastels.
My pictures are far from being the best in the world but I still enjoy making them and I look after each one. I prefer to work quickly on a piece at a time then move on to the next picture. My anime characters usually take no longer than an hour or so, I'm very impatient by nature!
I joined deviantART to chat to like minded people and share my little drawings with others.

Yeah fine thanks, drawing has just had to take a back seat at the moment as I've been really busy lately, I'm halfway through two pictures at the moment though! I'm covered in scratches as I took my ferrets for a play date yesterday, which didn't go too well...haha. How are you?

This one was kinda small as it was a private venue, but you enter your ferrets in the different categories and they get called up one by one. Someone collects them to take to the judges and brings them back after. Once the judging is complete they announce the winners! I'm going to some bigger shows in the summer so will see what those are like.
