Yeah, I realised it after downloading one to try out smtg. 
Anyway here's what I did. Let know if you like it. Couldn't do much effects because photo quality isnt sufficient, plus honestly I haven't researched much into Yuna to get the right "feel" for effects.

well next time (in march is the next big convention) I'll plan on doing Lightning. I hope I'm able to get me some gunblade xD
this will be a 3 days convention and I hope I'll be able to cosplay Yuna again, and Lightning for the new, and Korra from Legend of Korra  much work to do ><

but my camera is not the best either :/ 
I already tried myself to put some other backgrounds from FFX but I don't know xD It looks kinda weird, I'm not confident enough to upload those.

cropping yourself out to put in another photo takes quite abit of skill, esp since you are taken frm real life and game pictures look very different.t 
I tried it too, and didn't really like how it turned out, so I ditched it.
Instead I focus on enhancing the image and attempt to create the kind of feel and effect that I want.

yeah you're probably right and if you find the right locations for the backgrounds it's just more real anyway xD 
So maybe a photo shooting in the woods or beach should do and the effects do the rest.
