Richard Ilfraim, also known by his art name DoseofRich, is an international artist having art from various disciplines distributed throughout social media. Born in December 1995, he was raised in Queens, New York. He has loved drawing ever since his brother inspired him to draw as a kid. At age 19 in 2015, he made DoseofRich as a website; However, it didn’t really take off. In 2016 he made the Instagram account for it, which was the main reason for his fame. Richard has many accolades in his career. Later in 2017, he was featured in the Unfamous Art show in October and reached 5,000 followers on Instagram as well as 1,000 on Facebook. He has been requested for prestigious art magazines like Art 1340 and many more.Having inspiration from culture, fan art, movies, musicians and more, Richard expresses himself in a plethora of ways with his main purpose to provide unity in the world. A multimedia artist, he draws with pen and colored pencil. He often draws characters in underrepresented cultures, drawing black, Asian, Latino, and even Muslim characters in his own distinct style with influence from Anime, Disney, and American Comics. He even uses his style when drawing pop culture as well, penning drawings for the series Stranger Things and Naruto in his own style. With his love of pop culture and culture itself, Richard is a dominant force not just in the art world, but in a society where people need to see how special they really are.
