as for today....I could just tell you some big huge story about how evil monkeys with purple wings chewed through my computerβs power cords, but in all actuality, we have dialup, and someone called and disconnected me, and instead of leaving a message, like a good person, they called and called and called. >.<
Soβ¦I was trying to get online for about a good 20 minutes and then I gave up and decided to try later. And I restarted my computer. And tried again. And it still didnβt work. So I worked on my music, and tried again. And now Iβm online.

Schadenfreude is a German word that is beginning to cross over into English (it's now quite well-used in publications). It's a hybrid of Schaden-pain and Freude-joy. It's painjoy and it has no English equivalent. Basically it means taking Joy from somebody else's pain. I love it as a word because it helped me in my definition of true love. See: "True Love Is Schadenfreude" in my gallery...
