To be honest, I'm still improving a lot myself. I'd say the best piece of advice is that consistency and hard work beats talent anytime. If you really love drawing, and spend more time on that than anything else, you will see improvement.

While in this process, avoid comparing yourself to big name artists. They had their own journey to go through, and you have yours. No two fingerprints are alike, so just be the best you can be. You'll be happier for it.

Lastly, never forget to have fun. No matter what. If you don't enjoy drawing, frankly you shouldn't be doing it.

Heyo! If you are still interested in doing backgrounds, that would be amazing! Sorry for such a late response, but I have been doing a lot of changes. I can still use the ones you have, but I won't use them for exactly the same thing. You see I have changed the animated series into a comic, an audio comic to be precise. The real thing I need backgrounds for is for my opening and closing, which will still remain animated. If you would still like to draw backgrounds for me, I would be delighted!
