hey there DragonNighthowler,
im a member of DC and i was trying to draw a dragon for a dragon request or maybe just for fun. but i have a problem... i cant draw dragons if my life depended of it... i just cant make them look like dragons.
how i have to be honest i already asked Shin for help but he didnt even have the time to draw for himself so he couldnt help me.
i have this idea of a dragon based a little bit on one of shins dragons, this one to be precise: [link]
anyway, i thought of this dragon, kind of like the skywing (4 wings), but in contradiction to the skywing it is able to actually walk on his hind legs (kind of like the hid legs in shins image)
short neck, short snout (is that even a word? well i mean nose, mouth, beak thingy 
anyway the way i thought of it it would have his front wings and his leg wings overlap eachother a little bit, to let him carry the weight of his body. his wings span isnt very big aswell so he gets his broad/whide chest from having to flap his wings very much and carrying his bodyweight...
it hunts by dropping itself out of the air onto his prey and hooking the claws attached to his wings into the target. so he will need to look strong and tough enough to be able to survive such an attack.
i have tried to make a sketch myself but it ended up looking like one of those gliding squirrels... i dont even have the guts to show it to you because it hurts my eyes...
anyway, with this information, could you maybe whip up a quick little sketch? it doesnt have to be a very large and interesting concept but just a little sketch that i can then do my first attempt to sprite something on... or just some anatomy lines and a very rough sketch (so the dragon wont look like a dog or horse
anyway if you could help out i would be forever grateful! i hope this would be enough info to whip up an idea of what i had in mind.
if your interested in working it out any further that would also be very great because i love your work! for a color scheme i thought of darkish brown with tribal like tattoo pattern over his body.
ofc you will keep all rights on your work and if i can turn this in a dragon request you will be credited for your help
