# About me

My name is Dan and I’m a new member here at Deviant art. I’m an ME sufferer who is currently taking ‘gap years’ in my studying while I try to recover. With an absence of my usual daily activities I have found myself exploring other avenues I have not previously had the time for, photography been one of them. I’ve got myself into photography in the past year, shooting on an Olympus compact when I’ve been up to it. Though just recently I have taken the plunge and grabbed myself an SLR (Canon 500D). I’m still learning my way around photography (and this site, hehe) so any comments and feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)
