That was my partner's original intention, haha! But I couldn't let this one go. Happy endings don't come easy!
It's worth noting that Jamiel isn't actually dead, he's just become trapped in another world. Part of the setting for the roleplay room I chose mentioned that no one could escape from the world. I neglected to notice when I signed up. >> It's become a pretty heavy trope in his adventures in this other world, and his spirit was ripe for a breaking when he was at last offered a chance to see his 'old' friend.~ The mage who granted him this chance will want to try again; but I don't know if Jamiel will take it. It was hard enough once, after all.
Though I really should detail what might've happened to Keevah, afterwards. Hmm...
