I'm really happy about it. Was the first fic that was ever written to my stuff. Always secretly wished for that somehow.
I feel honored in any case! When I make a render of an existing fanart (drawn) it's also always meant as a tribute, so I get you / the intention pretty well!

I admit, it's not often that I see something and end up writing for it - this is maybe the third, certainly no more than that. And , to be fair, it kinda helped kick me onto a one-shot for Kaidan post-ending so thank you back!

I know this might sound trivial, but practice makes perfect... And truth is,for a long time I didn't try any form of art, because I doubted I could do anything worth showing I think the key is to find the technique You feel like trying and then perfecting it... Or at least that's what I did

Yeah, visual art I'm just not good with. So I write instead. Doesn't quite do justice sometimes - I'd love to have the talent to paint/draw the scene now and again - but it does. I just get a little wibbly when I get told I've made someone cry! LOL

I guess You're wrong about one thing - writing absolutely can do justice, it depends on talent It's less popular in a way that's it faster to acknowledge a picture than a story, but it's still a worthy skill! You should cherish the fact that You can influence people through it!

Thanks - I guess I do kinda forget sometimes that reading something can have as much impact as seeing something. I just get frustrated sometimes I suppose, when I get this image in my head, and I want to share it exactly the way I see it. Like...in the ME3 fic I did last week, the end of it. But then I see things like what you put together and that makes me smile, think of new scenes and banter that might take place, makes me want to play the game again (which is a worthy thing btw!) so I'm fueled to write more. It's great being part of a fandom that just keeps feeding the creativity all the time

We have. Sorry it took me so long to respond; I got back to the States and had to clear up a few legal issues starting the next day, and then started a cross country trip, and now I've been working since last Wednesday and have been pretty brain dead and exhausted.

Family is a huge deal over there, which isn't a bad thing. I think it's really cool, and I wish that I had that kind of tie to my own.

Family is great...IF you have one. I understand what you're saying. Another friend of mine is pretty much orphaned coz her family has a weird set-up that's succeeded in completely ostracising her. If your fella's family is in Ireland, that mean you might end up moving there?

I'm definitely not opposed to the possibility of living in Ireland. But he's wanting to move to America, and we both managed to find jobs in New Mexico, of all places, so we'll be living with Sailawen and Spade for a bit. Which means we'll be on hand to help with the new little one, and both he and I separately have more practice with kids and babies than Sai and Spade combined.

Cutesy? Ah, not so much of a mentor these days, not with writing anyways. I seem to be travelling down the counsellor/therapist route, just without any of the official training. And making money is always good! Some of your photos were quite lovely and would suit the taste for open, bright, shots for wall ornaments.

Yeah, me and Hobie enjoyed a bit of Xbox. Been a bit difficult catching him online in that way for a few months but we had a chat a couple months back. Just got back in touch with Kati too - which you know - and, obviously, back here after a year of being away. My last journal breaks things down somewhat.

The last thing I wrote is that which I uploaded a couple months back. Otherwise I've not been writing, no. Headspace, energy, inclination - not really been right. I intend to finish the Jonas story and take another look at Dari's but no promises on when I get round to it.
