It has been a while hasn't it. Things have been a little off around here and I just don't get on much.
Anywho, I would love to buy your Breyers, but I too am having financial issues because I might be moving and can't afford much of anything.
And chestnut or sorrel, depending on the region you come from is an accurate enough description for the Steeple Jumper.

It's all good. Being that I want to get into horse breeding and training I know a lot about horses, but I still question myself sometimes.
That's good - at least you got some money coming in either way.

Yeah. Breyers are hard to come by, so it really doesn't surprise me that much.
I hope me and my friend can get the our plans off the ground and start building the ranch so that we can get started breeding horses.

Yeah we are. The land we are looking at has nothing on it except a fence.
And we really want to breed for versatility and just have that all around horse. However we will still have those few that will do racing, reining, rodeo, dressage, etc specifically, but once they retire from the circuit they will be trained in something else so that they can still be active and not become a lawn ornament. We're also looking into doing a Dude Ranch, so that'll be fun.

A Dude Ranch (or Guest Ranch) is where people can come (for vacation or whatever) and be around horses and learn a bit about them and even ride them. Some ranches even let some of the guests go on cattle drives, but we might just stick to trail rides and camp outs.

Oh, okay. I know what that is. The old ranch I used to work at was a guest ranch.
A cattle Drive? That'd be somethin, but I have a feeling that tje other two options are more safe/wiser to offer.
Still, that sounds like a lot of work, but it also sounds very rewarding too

Yeah I grew up calling it a dude ranch, until I went to college and everyone else was referring to it as a guest ranch.... Same difference.
Yeah cattle drive would be a bit of a challenge with a bunch of city folk riding a horse for the first time ever. So if we even think of offering it as a thing to do we would only allow those that have rode horses before and know what they are doing and how to do it.
And it is going to be quite rewarding, because once it gets up and going its gonna feel like one of those jobs where you don't work, because you enjoy what you are doing.
