# About me

I have a National Diploma in Graphic Design and I studied Graphic Media through the University College for the Creative Arts. I spend all my spare time drawing as it is my passion and escapism from the real world. My illustrations are by hand and my skills as an artist are versatile, not only can I draw traditionally but I also draw quirky animal cartoons and design tattoos, amongst other things. If I could draw every second of the day I will have achieved my ultimate dream.

I've been on DA for some time. I think the number of page views has a lot to do with that. I also do a good deal of browsing; I think that when someone notices that you have viewed their work and have commented, they are more likely to take a look at yours as well. There are also several groups for artists that you may join for additional exposure [link] [link] [link] [link] . Of course, this is helpful with exposure, but I don't think that you will have a problem. Your work is very good. Just keep up the good work and try to be prolific and you will have success. Good luck and enjoy.

Once again thank you for your encouraging remarks. I was wondering if you get scouts on here? Thanks also for those helpful links. Your work is great too, have you received any work through this site?

I haven't been as proactive as many. I draw for the joy only, and although I appreciate the feedback and criticism, I haven't had the time to pursue wider exposure. I'm a physician and am currently in residency training; I work 80 hours a week. But I think what has worked for me the most is that I use a great deal of images from other deviants, photographers and models. By asking their permission to use their work, I draw attention to my own. I provide links to their work as well, which brings more attention to theirs. It is a win win situation. I'm sorry that I can't provide better advice but I hope that you CBD this useful. And thank you for the kind words.
