Sorry I haven't been back for so long!

At first I was having emotional issues and didn't want to bother anyone and then when I wasn't I didn't really feel like talking so I kinda just dropped off of Skype... Then dropped off the group quite a bit since I wasn't rping with anyone...
And then when I felt up to talking to everyone again I realized I'd been absent for a few months and thought that everyone would be ticked that I left without an announcement, so I've just kinda been rping with Kami to try and come back silently >.<

[ Alright. I have an idea so I guess I'll start then ]

Flightpaw led the group of apprentices back into Safe Haven, just trailing behind their mentors, after a patrol. It had went well for them, it seemed that all of them had caught at least one piece of prey, and after setting it on the kill pile their mentors went different ways, it still being early enough in the morning for them to catch a nap before doing something else. And that left Flightpaw, Mintpaw, and Pebblepaw still sitting next to the pile in awkward silence. For almost the whole patrol Flightpaw had ignored Pebblepaw, talking to her only to let her know when he smelled something that might be dangerous. Now, he had no idea how to address Mintpaw without being blatantly rude to her, however, so he stayed quiet this time, aiming his eyes at the sky as he waited for one of them to speak up instead.

Del stood with the two, with Mintpaw in between her and Flightpaw. She wasn't sure how she had survived that trip without her head exploding each time Flightpaw brushed her off. It was probably because of how tired she was. The Gang had had a sort of assessment for two nights in a row now with each member being assessed a different night, and last night had been her own assessment. She could still feel the soreness in her muscles, and the scars forming on her back left leg were being hidden only by her dark fur, though that seemed to be enough to keep it out of the sight of most of the Haveners, these two included. She had no idea how she'd been able to catch that nyx, but was glad that things didn't seem too out of place, other than her relationship with Flightpaw. Hearing the bi-colored tom's optimistic voice trying to get the two to talk once more brought her thoughts back from last night. "Uh, yeah. Thanks." She paused, her mind tired from two nights in a row of limited sleep. "You did really well too, Mintpaw."

Flightpaw's ears pricked a little bit at Mintpaw's attempt at civility, listening to him as a small smile came onto his face from the praise. It was a tired smile, one that let them know he hadn't had a full night's sleep in at least a week, but it was a smile. Pebblepaw answered before he did and he respectfully kept quiet until she was done, not wanting to interrupt her. "Thanks Mint, but I doubt I could have caught it without your help. It was about to get away before you went in front of it." the tom responded, blinking warmly at the social butterfly.
He turned his gaze away before it could travel towards the she-cat sitting with them, not wanting to draw her attention to him. The tom held in a sigh as well. He just couldn't decide how to act around her now, whether he should be mad, upset, happy again.. He'd opted for mad earlier and had continued to ignore her since, but now, after noticing that she would limp occasionally while hunting, he felt bad for casting her aside. And a little mad still, though now it was at Skinner and her gang, since they were probably the ones that hurt Pebblepaw. She IS the one that chose to go with them, though. I have no reason to feel bad... he reminded himself, distracting himself with grooming now as he listened for Mint to continue, eyes to the ground.

"thanks dollface!" Mintpaw purred out his instinctual nickname for the gray she-cat, though in a tone that held genuine gratitude rather then mockery at the name. He had actually started using 'Dollface' for her as affectionately as he used 'Flighty' for Flightpaw. He always got a rush of happiness whenever Pebblepaw complimented him these days. Though it was quickly extinguished when Flightpaw excused her once again, ignoring her while he responded to Mint. "No problem, Flighty" Mintpaw purred, trying to keep his voice light. "You woulda done the same to help me catch somethin'!" he smiled to his friend. Maybe if he kept up this friendly banter things would fall in to place, the two would become friends again. Even as he thought it, though, Mintpaw knew it would never work. Flightpaw would just remain chillfully silent towards Pebblepaw if he kept this up. He looked back to Pebblepaw. The black and white tom hadn't noticed anything amiss with her during their hunt, he had been to oblivious in his failed attempts to get them talking. He wasn't sure where to go from here, he hadn't had much sleep on this patrol their mentors had taken them on and let out a yawn, trying to focus on the issue at hand. "Pebblepaw did pretty good too, right Flightpaw?" he asked his denmate, trying to force him to acknowledge her existence. "And Pebblepaw, Flight's catch is awesome, right??" he brought the she-cat into the conversation. If he could just get these two to talk to each other, then the real work could begin. Maybe he could get both his friends back and the three of them being around each other wouldn't be such an awkward mess.

Del's spirits fell a bit further when Flightpaw ignored her one more. Even though she hadn't engaged him, he could've at least glanced her way. But no, he just looked right past her at Mintpaw. Speaking of Mintpaw, he was being quite talkative, probably just to keep the tension between her and the grey apprentice at a minimum. She had gotten much more accustomed to Mintpaw's way of doing things recently, and didn't even flinch when he called her that silly pet name. Actually, it cheered her up ever so slightly, making it seem like things were the way they used to be again, though she knew different.

Then he posed questions to the others, and Del stiffened. He was trying to force them to talk. She was all for being good friends with Flightpaw again, but what if he just avoided her this time too. So much rejection from such a kind cat, it hurt a lot more than one would expect. But, Mintpaw seemed to think it would work, and she had to at least give it a shot. Mustering up a bit of courage, the she-cat looked over at her formerly-ashen friend. "Yeah, that's a great catch, Flightpaw."
