Mackenzie's nose wrinkled up as she attempted to bake cookies- an offering to the spirits. They had been louder than usual, taking refuge in an alley somewhere. "Hey, April?" she called out to her sister. "Can you help me with this?" Her sleeves were pulled up around her elbows and there was more batter in her face and on the counter thank in the bowl.
