# About me
I am a graduate student at the University of Arizona in the Second Language Acquisition and Teaching doctoral program. I did my MA there in English as a Second Language (TESOL) program, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing (Poetry focus) and French. My research interest is in arts integration in second language classrooms and EFL teaching. I have taught English abroad in France, Guadeloupe, Switzerland, New Zealand, South Korea, and Hungary, traveled to over 40 countries in the world, and seen 49 of the 50 states (mostly through roadtrips). Often, I can be found correcting the grammar of prospective dates and wishing that one of them would know what I meant when I call them pulchritudinous. My favorite word is decathecting--it is an action I carry out in some form every day. I am in a constant state of zugzwang. I have a very manly laugh and will never be seen without some form of facial hair (beards grow on you).# Comments

Incredible! I absolutely love it here. I've been traveling the EU a ton and just really getting a chance to live and read and write and watching tons of films and TV shows that I've been wanting to catch up on for years! There is a chance I will be coming through Zurich, Switzerland for a day on my way out to a poetry workshop in Lithuania sometime towards the beginning of July...any chance you're around that area? I'd love to meet in person if it's possible

It's all over the map. I help out as "conversational aide" to kids from age 12-18. It's not a full time teaching position, but I like that. Gives me lots of time to travel and do other things.

HUZZAH! How did you find it, through here? Are you the Jane that added it? I only ask as I get notified every time someone adds my book to a shelf of theirs and someone named Jane is the first person who is not a friend of mine to add it to a shelf haha. I very much appreciate that you are interested, and if you could, I'd love more reviews on it for that site as that is where I'm going to begin sending everyone who wants to read my work and who is not on DA.

Huzzah indeed! I am not Jane, but I have just noticed my error and added it to my 'currently reading' shelf; I'm CJ, if you had not guessed! I haven't yet reviewed on Goodreads as although I am a deviant critic, that site is rather intimidating with its masterful and lavish reviews. But for you, I will certainly give it a go. Despite being as far from a poet as Tolkien was from textbooks (although my page will tell you otherwise) I am still, it seems, more adept at reviewing poetry. How odd.
P.S. I am not entirely sure, as I have a disobedient leg (although hitting people with my cane makes me feel an awful lot like House) and am quite far from London, in the West Midlands. Also, other deviants are intimidating...
