Too long have we stood idly by while the world looks on, captivated by featherbrained antics and flashy aerial displays. Too long have we been looked down upon and treated as lesser, or worse, as dinner. So we can’t fly, so what! Were still birds, dammit! We have feelings too. Well, I say enough is enough. It is time we do something about it. Humans were not born with the power of flight but that never stopped those idiots from hurling themselves skyward, and if those pink bastards can do it, then so can we. That’s why I propose a massive worldwide fundraising and research initiative, so we can finally take our rightful place in the great big blue above. Now, who’s got a higher degree that can get our research started? Anyone?
