# About me

My name is Dustin Evans. I have worked as a professional illustrator since 2004 on everything from comic books to film. I have a BFA from Oklahoma State University. You can find my artwork in publications from Disney, IDW, Ape Entertainment, Viper Comics, Penny Farthing Press, Magic Wagon (ABDO Publishing) and many more. I was recently featured on the Conan O'Brien show for a rendering of the Flaming C. Coming in 2012 2 all new, all original works from myself and collaborators. One, Qwakar, an all ages animated comic book romp about an adventuring Barbarian Duck and two, a yet to be announced publication from Viper Comics I'm working on with partner in comic crime, Mike Hall. I also have a 4 book publication that I wrote and illustrated being released from Magic Wagon in 2012. Details to follow. I'm available for commissions, just email me!

ByTheWay Is There away i can get hire by Ape Entertainment and not be a freelance Artist? Since I don't really think i want to be a freelance Artist i like to work for one Company and partner up with 'em to make Comics by Third Eye Comics. But do my own Comics but might some pages for other Comics in the side.

Ok one more question. If Ape says yes on my Dream Reader Patch does that mean i can work on that as long as i want and get paid and do side projects too while working on Dream Reader and maybe Dark Hood?

Thanks Dustin. Well do u think i should still submit to Ape Entertainment even if i don't really want to be a Freelance Artist? I'm not a big Image Comics fan beside i check their not doing Commissions right now. I do know one Indie Comic Company that doesn't hire Freelance and that's Antarctic Press.

Lol, I know, gettin' crazy over here :) (Smile) I wanted something new. Trying to rebrand myself a bit as a studio and not just one dude. I drew this image of a top hat, and for some reason it spoke to me. After some googling, I ended up with Magic Hat Creative, because it wasn't taken.
