I love Nan Goldin.. one of my favorite photographers..
there is so much meaning in her work.. not just beautiful pics you know.. most of the time hard reality what makes it so pure..
if you have the chance you should watch a dvd of here.. the story of her live..
its called "Contacts: the greatest photographers reveal the secrets behind their pictures, Volume 2"
don't know if you can find it over there..
have a nice day

and still your code is an inspiration to me and i hope to others too. i will try to see behind the vibe and decipher what is behind the wall of the obvious to learn. but i accept that there may be no way to grasp whatever the real message might be as to lack of information. and i will fight the good fight against the allpresent ignorance of lazy minds and will try to convey reason where chaos is in place. or as a situation just this morning occured - when i said something seemingly random and out of context to the "naked ear" a friend of mine asked what the hell i was talking about (proper reasoning) but without even having waited for my answer a second person blocked by saying: "dont bother asking. its jibberish anyway. he will calm down in a second". i was not offended by the comment itself but by the huge ignorance as if she was saying: "ah see i do not understand this - so i will not bother thinking about it because it has absolutely no relevance to me" without even knowing what she is neglectic so carelessly. this simple ignorance is what i call the "evil forces of stupid" - "i dont know what it is so i dont care to find out".
by the example above i wanted to demonstrate that i see a similar message in your work - the message of teaching the unknown to people who might not care about it but you do it anyway because you KNOW what the result would be if people stayed ignorant. and i applaud you for that.
Viktor
