I´m the one who should thank you! It was a long time since I saw such beautiful photography on DA! Looking through your gallery made me think of when we went through Cartier-Bresson and his likes in my photographyhistory-lessons back in highschool.

But you see, I prefer your expressive style.
It is pity that you don't have some more such a photos on dA.
Off course, I assume that you mentioned Cartier-Bresson more as a symbol of specific kind of photography. I mean, that man was a genius; he is fantastic. But, there are so many good life photographers. It is pity that we can't mention them only in one word. We can only think on them and say "Cartier-Bresson".
Thank you once again! On the basis of your works I can see that you are clever and gentle... person.
This what I do is very pathetic (poor): I don't have (wouldn't know how to use it ) film camera (which can do much more than digital, no matter how good digital camera is), don't travel much, don't have car to visit my closer environment...

Yeah, I meant Cartier-Bresson as a symbol. I wish I could´ve done some more name-dropping, but I´m really awful at remembering names (even of photographers that I really respect).

I also don´t think travelling would be necessary for photographing. Many of the better photographers I´ve seen hasn´t travelled at all, but instead been able to find the smallest things in their closest enviroment, things that noone else notice, and been able to make art out of it. As in the picture you got a Daily Deviation for with the gypsies that´s finding something in your own enviroment and then being able to make a meaningful picture out of it. A lot of people travel, and don´t produce half as good photos as that. I can however understand that you´d want a filmcamera. The greys are always so much richer in analogue photographs than in digital (providing of course that you develop it in a god way, something wich I´m still learning, wich is also at a stop at the moment since I don´t go to school anymore and can use their lab and equipment). But in the end it´s not the tecniqe that matters, but what you do with what you have.

Det är där jag jobbar den här veckan plus en till lite senare i sommar. Och det är ju kul i alla fall, har spenderat eftermiddagen med att ha vattenkrig och rejsa med en 50-hästarsmotor XD

No prob. ^^ Hoping that i will be able to take a photo like that someday. Have always been pretty faschinated by the photos from theatres, ballets and similiar things. But i´ve never had the opportunity to try to take one myself. But did you use the already existing light (not sure how to express that, english isn´t my true language ^^), or did you use a flashlight?
