# About me

I engage in self destructive behavior with too much frequency. I blame it on having grown up in a changing NYC, especially coming from The Bronx. I saw the change with my own eyes, the commercialization of "Classic" NY, the conversion to mass appeal, the decay of the distinct NY cultural experience. It disgusts me. A lot of people say it's gotten better. That this has saved NYC from becoming a decayed metropolis. I hate it. I detest it and I realize that thinking like that makes me nuts and people seriously take it personally if you're just a little bit crazy. But I can't be crazy if I see this type of cultural degradation elsewhere, right? Go to Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and you're going to see this generic anglicized wave taking over every aspect of traditional lifestyles. The new concrete streets sure keep it clean, but who's to say the mud didn't feel good beneath our feet? I don't know what I'm talking about. here's some drawings and stuff.
