Ah, thank you! And no, no missing link, unfortunately ^^' I developed it for about a year with the intention to turn it into a webcomic, but I've since realised that's probably not the best medium for this particular story. It will end up existing in some proper form eventually, but realistically that's probably years away :c

So. Today has been a spectacularly bad one, and as I'm sitting here bemoaning my life and all the stupid things I've done (blah blah blah, angst angst angst) what happens? It starts raining. Like, full bore, AND ON THE FOURTIETH DAY THE WATERS COVERED THE EARTH raining, and I promptly said, "Seriously, Waffen?" without even thinking.
Not two seconds later, massive thunder that sounds just like someone laughing.
And now my day is about fifty times better, because really, I found this far too hilarious.
Also, my roommates wanted to know what a Waffen was. This just set me off further.
So, yes. Be happy, for your characters have made me a whole lot better on a day were absolutely nothing was going right. Thank you!

I think whoever/whatever is in charge of the weather must have a sense of humour, because your experience has happened to me more times than I can count -- every time I get caught in the rain and mutter a complaint, it rains harder. Every time xD

Once, I was walking from a park to a friend's house, and the moment I put a foot on the street, it started raining so hard the whole street was a puddle. Of course, I was soaked. It went on like that until I got, like, 200 meters away from her house, when the rain began to pour less and less the closer I got from the house. By the time I reached to porch, it had stopped raining.
Weather definitely is someone with a sense of humor as horrendous as Waffen's.
