Yea there is a certain horror look to it because of the high grain of T-Max 3200 and the increased contrast I gave it during the printing of the photograph.

at that time , we used collodion,copper..

iam back from the lab very angry , they made my tiraj with a cold nuance , burned some black colors, no professional.
i dont have other solution here.
i regret my lab in the bath room.
i wait to go to France with a dvd , make the prints there for a personal exibit.

the show must go on.....

Aww man..I am sorry to hear that about the results of the lab. That is why I like to do it myself. No one (lab) can really interpret our expressions the way we want them depicted. I hope all goes well with the show. You have a wonderful body of work from which to choose from. Let me know how it goes and which images were exhibited. Is this a one person show?

Hi Richard.
the poor quality of the prints is one thing.i have the matrice on a dvd that i will used later in France .
i had a little exibit last week , a rehearsal for Paris in november.
i am not in hurry .

20 images were at stake , there are some where in this site .i ll try to do a dossier for them...repet i ill try....


where are the scissors , the durst agrandisseur, the bw chimie ...the red light etcetc

Laurent , bonjour et merci.

Paris est toujours un tresor pour un photographe prenant le temps.
je suis un amateur au sens 1930 du terme juste pour le plaisir et l esthetique sans connaissance speciale, ne comprenant plus rien aux pixels et fais juste de la photo intuitive bien ancree dans cette facon de voir des annees 1930
J ai eu la chance de rencontrer mr Roniss en plus je suis collectionneur donc j ai de petites choses.....

a 60 balais , j essaye de profiter au max de cet art hier j ai ete dans un village avec un evenement traditionel
sous peu je vais des photos dans Da.

Et hop au boulot....

Ronis , non helas je n'ai pas de tirages mais collectionnant les livres etcetc j'ai pu recuperer
-Photo-reportage Montel 1951
-Paris avec Marcel brion Arthaud 1962.ce livre n apas ete un succes pour Ronis et de plus , il en etait tres mecontent.
-Bellevile Menilmontant , avec marc orlan.lr livre culte de ronis qu il m adedicace le 7 fevrier 1992 lors d une rencontre
"A louis , l'amoureux de la photo d entre- deux guerres. bien cordialment .Willy Ronis"

l image train bleu est ecellente aussi ta serie sur le nu /phomontage et la dame en noire. meriteraient une expo dans une galerie

hier je suis reste au calme apres la visite dans un village....

J'aimerai bien exposer en vrai, mes photos, mais je ne suis pas encore prêt pour accepter "la critique" ou réondre aux questions de façon intelligente.

J'ai fais une fois l'essai, mais pas dans de bonnes conditions, en tous cas les questions de base je n'ai pu les éviter.
Vous avez quel type d'appareil?
Numérique ou argentique?
etc...

ce qui nous emporte irrémédiablement sur le fameux!
ah ben moi j'ai le Canon chose ou le Nikon machin et je bla bla bla...

pendant ce temps là personne ne prends le temps d'apprécier les images...

Je suis assez renfermé finalement, l'avis du public m'ennuie très rapidement.
Je dois apprendre à m'ouvrir plus.
