ooh... i went to italy 2 years ago... xD but i stay here for 1 week and i didn't went out of Roma... but i like it a lot! i'm studying fine arts now, and i remember a lot this city.

Well... it's difficult -_-" you have to do 'artistic drawing' and 'technical drawing', sculpture, photography, art history... a bit of everything. But I'm only in bachelor's degree! it's hard...

heeey I'm fine thanks! and you? the summer holidays are finally here but I'm not able to find inspiration here in my town, it feels as if this place was a cage and I'd really like to make new shots! how about you? ^^
I don't have fave photographers, because I think that photography changes with the opportunities we have... and sometimes I'm a bit envious because I'm always dreaming of becoming a better artist by visiting the whole world, but as I said, it's a matter of opportunities...

Getting on with finals of my 3d course. I would really prefer to be out there taking pics!
You said you were finding it hard to get inspiration.
Maybe try doing more nighttime shots, in colour, around your town?
By doing this you will sharpen your sense of shape,form, texture and colour.
You already have a very good sense of these things, so its just good practice!
I will be doing this myself, soon!

You could also do peoples portraits, in black n white.
I like 'the secrets of 1001 nights', more images like that. Or classic portraiture, starting with friends and family. It can be tricky to get people to agree at times.
Natural snaps or series of expressions!

I know what you mean about wanting to travel and visit different places! It would be great to be able to do that freely. I think a lot of photographers would like to do that!

As it's summer you should make use of the light range available at different times of the day!
You can do repetitions of architecture
or whatever you like snapping the most and look at the image to see how light can change sharpness or soften an image.
Also with architecture in strong light you can look closely at detail, shape and line. Thus creating strong forms and graphic shaped compositions!

I hope that those suggestions will help a little!

heeeey I've been very busy! thanks a lot for your suggestions as you have seen I have tried to find inspiration around my town! as you suggested I am trying to do portraits with my girlfriend as model, a series of 7 pics about the deadly sins... tell me your opinion ^^
I am really enjoying the summer now and I will spend a week in Barcelona, a place where I will surely find everything I need to take wonderful pics! tell me more about you and your summer, I'm quite curious ^_^

Its cool that you're finding inspiration around your town! Having your girlfriend as a model for portrait work is very good. You can keep her at ease whilst you take pics, and get good pics. I think it's harder doing portraits, when you don't know the person. It takes longer for them to relax, longer to get natural images! Very cool new images, I like them!
Your colour work is brill.

That's a very good idea, to do a series on the deadly sins. I will be happy to see them. You could do them as separate images, or have a continuation in each pic showing the theme!
You are the director! Emotion and composition are what make great photos, no matter what the theme is! I'm sure you will create cool images.

Wow, Barcelona, that's ace!
I'm still trying to find time to do my own work. I've not finished my course yet, although the final deadline is fast approaching!
I want to take pics of crowds or people at gatherings. To show collective feeling. I used to take pics in clubs and need some outdoor, festival images.
I've not had time to go and get tickets to some of the events, so see how that goes.
May try to get to some carnivals for some images. I will do some character images for my Afircan stories. And maybe some surreal art, but the time just goes quickly. Not enough hours in the day, lol!

oh I saw the your masks and I think the are great! they show perfectly your talent with the pencil and the ideas behind are pretty interesting ^^ have you ever tried to do something with watercolours or oil?
