I'm just a fun-loving nerd who works hard to improve her sewing and crafting ability. My journey is both personal and shared, as with my husband we enjoy to bring our most beloved characters to life (old & new) and do so for our own enjoyment. Creatively, I love to pick costumes that provide a learning experience and a challenge. It keeps my skills sharp, and my interests piqued.
I've been cosplaying since 2003, and still going strong! I hold a degree in costume design, and currently work and reside in Los Angeles, CA.

I'm sure you've played the crazy out of Final Fantasy VI.
Remember Intangir? The only enemy (that I recall) that was always invisible until you used magic on it?

Yesss, I remember that enemy. It used to scare me as a kid visually. I struggled to beat him since he was easily one of the more difficult enemies in the first section of the game. *.*
I do appreciate your message on my wall here, and I'm hoping you're doing well -- thank you for understanding that I'm not online often. Life tends to take over and I have to push away my 'fun' activities (cosplay, gaming, online socializing, drawing, etc) whenever this happens, so it's difficult to find solace after a time. We're struggling to get settled into the Seattle area, but we're doing our best to keep it together.

Doing well? That's a conjunctive statement. Physically, other than being tired and hating the heat (only method of cooling off is a half-broken swamp cooler), I'm fine; but where it counts, I'm frightened as Hell, wondering if I'm going to not have a roof over my head in my immediate future. That's taking a toll on me, and I'm the only one who seems to give a rat's ass. But hey, that's what being human in the 20th century on is all about, doing for yourself and fucking over the rest, especially those in need, right? Seems to be the motto of the human race anymore, whether they admit it or not.
Why is everyone moving to Seattle? If logic serves me correctly, that is a death trap waiting to spring. Moving inland is the only safe way to live; and here is a decent place. But that's just it; no one thinks logically anymore either. Oh well.
The only reason I'm online almost all the time is because I'm in a constant need of either a destresser or something to pass the time since otherwise, I've nothing else.
As far as Intangir goes, like I said, it is more for a bonus kind of deal than anything, but I do believe it was also meant to be a programming test for various things such as making graphics go blank on command (which you'd only understand what I'm talking about if you've tried to make an RPG yourself with RPG making software such as IG Maker or RPG MAKER VX Ace), since all battles are programmed in a certain way.

hiya! it's been a while since i've been able to log on here, i don't have a computer to log on to anymore, and am currently saving up money to buy one. so i can only bug my favorite cosplayers on fb, tumblr, and instagtam now xD just figured i'd let you know that i'm finally going to devote my soul to jjba. your cosplay is actually what made discover its existence, and i decided this year to get back into anime/manga. i watched evangelion and now want to expirience this. so just expect random messages on tumblr/fb from me ranting/dying over jjba. i've only seen episode 1. i don't appreciate him calling his mom a bitch!! xD

I'm glad to know about your situation... and I do hope you can save up quickly to get yourself a new laptop. ;3 I'm still pretty active here on dA, but lately moreso on Twitter/fB/tumblr and instagram. xD So it works out pretty well if you can still access those media platforms in the meantime!
O-M-G don't you just love JJBA?! It seriously never disappoints! Where are you starting in the series? Phantom Blood? Battle Tendency? Stardust Crusaders is awesome too (It's pretty fabulous, lol) but I'm not completely up to date on that series. Tons of ep's I haven't seen yet. If you're getting back into anime, I should send you my animelist profile, in case you're looking for some ideas on what to watch. myanimelist.net/animelist/exto… It's a mixed bag of stuff I've seen, some older, more classic, some new. But maybe have a look if you're interested! Also that site is REALLY great to research new/older shows in case you're on the fence to start a new series.

Aww, thank you! I love doing it, and it gives me good confidence and feeling every time I complete a project. I've been wanting to do an original costume for a while, and I think if I do, it will be something inspired by a jellyfish. I want to make use of LED's and el wire somehow (as I haven't experimented with these things yet, and I'm curious about them), and it will also serve to pay homage to my days when I commercial fished with my family (for a living) for almost ten years on the west coast of Canada. ^^ I hope I can design it, and make it a reality soon.
