That's something I've never heard before! "Friendship is stronger than love". Hmmm... that's interesting. I think friendship is still love, they are not divided concepts, I mean, can your loved one even be your partner if they are not also your friend? I think not! Honest friends are always there for you, so your loved one has to be a true friend too!
I would rather my friends one thousand times more than "finding love". They have been there for long time for me, I couldn't replace them, even with someone I really like, it's not fair. Don't you think?

I wastold this once by my earlier Lithuanian language and literature teacher. It surprised me, because I viewed love as kf it was the stronger emotional connection.
Love can make people blind to the other one's flaws, while friendship helps us tolerate them.
Love has phases. Mostly based on impression.
Friendship's strength is based in experience with that person.
In primitive versions love comes from the desire to breed, friendship from teamwork.
You can love a friend in a friendly way, or a good friend can become a lover^^
With a person you are in love... You might feel a unique connection
