Hi Scott
Stunning work. Supported you on Ideas.Β
Checked you link to the instructions. Typical LDD render. At least the part list is usefull. I wonder why Lego LDD is not using any other allgoritm to have this program working in a more logical way.
Do you know Blueprint. It' s a easy to use program to create a building instructions. It uses LDD files but turns out a more logical instruction.Β
As a senior AFOL I ve created things and I've put them on MOC pages or even sold some on Rebrickable (Polyprojects -Sandcrawler- is the best known).Β
If you don't get the 10000 supporters you can Always try putting them on rebrickable. We need people like you, with a open creative genie. Lego designers are stressed and have to get to a deadline ...resulting in poorly created sets with parts limitations.
Sets from a franchise such as Star Wars or Ninjago sell well, so if we look at metal beard sea cow, who was really special, you can wonder why it wasn't a big succes...Or not as big as they expected.
Anyhow, if you like to share the LDD files with me, i'd be more than happy to have a closer look at your building techniques and see if i can make something in Blueprint for you.Β
I'm not going to build it right a way, I'm not going to sell it or distribute them. It's just for personnal use. If it's a no, I do understand it, as you've put work and time in it.
So keep on building
Take Care
Paul Yperman

Wow, you've given me a lot the think about.Β I'll take a look at Blueprint, but up till now building instructions weren't high on my list of things to master.Β After all, I only have so many pieces and creating one of my sets would require a lot of money I don't have. Honestly, I've never heard of Rebrickable and it's hard to believe people are able to sell MOC instructions.
As far as my submissions to Lego Ideas go, I've no problem sharing the lxf.Β Actually, I'd love someone to spend the money to try and build them so I could know for sure if my construction techniques hold up in real life.Β Though I'd like a photo of the finished project so I could put it as an update on Lego Ideas.
You can send me a Note to further discuss sharing the lxf files.

Blueprint works when the part count is not to big. So I'm not sure if it will work on your projects, that is something I can only know if I can import it.
Now and then I make a instruction with Blueprint. In a way it's also rebuilding things, as every brick has it's fixed position in the LXF file, but it's not allways in the right order (floating parts - such as LDD produces the instruction) Blueprint gives you the possibility of changing the order the bricks come into view. Rebuilding , until it's logical. I like to do that, it' challenging when it's not to hard.Β
Recently I made a building instruction for a statue. Hot Dog (it's on rebrickable). It was 2700 pieces or so, It worked fine on Blueprint. Another one Fox and Rabbit (7500pieces ) did not work on Blueprint. So I'll have to take it apart in smaler units and then try again. If I make it , it will be for me, as the statue instructions don't really sell on Rebrickable. It's not much of a succes.Β
Rebrickable is interesting for technic submissions, star wars and modular houses.
It's free to put them on the site (even a lxf file will be accepted as "instruction"), but there is a small fee to pay if you let rebrickable take care of the whole thing. Selling, sending the file(s). You don't have to do anything or even get in contact with potential buyers. It works automatically. Payment by PayPal
Even if it's not for the money, it will give you some more attention than you get on Ideas.Maybe you can put a link to Ideas. I saw your projects because i get notifications from Ideas, but otherwise it would have passed without notice.Β
Once again; It like the way its build, special and different from other modular buildings. Also the used colours look great.Β
If I get the LXF file I'll try to make a blueprint instruction. (if it works you'll have it of course) . I'll keep you updated . Building in real bricks is only an option when the instruction is there. It's easy. Follow the instruction and the parts are all there. It's NOT my idea of selling other people's idea's but sometimes I have the feeling your build is something I cannot create my self, so it's interesting.Β

just letting you know, i've constructed a Summer Pokemon Contest for the group and i have entered your artwork [link] into it. it's a great piece and it's a perfect example of a fire pokemon. if you would like me to remove it from the contest or if you would like something else submitted instead, let me know. otherwise, good luck!

No problems here. As summer progresses I hope to have the time to submit more work, but I doubt I will have anything else done in time for your contest.

That comment made my day! I suppose it's only fair to warn you that I'm a sporadic artist. I'll go on an art binge for three weeks, making maybe five pieces, then I'll not post for two months. I hope to fix that inconsistency, so please be patient!
