yes haha it's that their stuff got suggested to me in my youtube feed otherwise I would've missed as well :'D it's still rather symphonic but the song they did a lyric video for instead of a music video got a bit more serious

I listened to them and while they do sound a bit heaver I feel like they are one of those bands that are actually dragging one sound for a bit too long. They've had this sound for the last 7-8 years, and the last album I liked from them came out in 2010 haha. How about you, did you like what you heard? Have you listened to their older stuff before?

oh yes I think I see what you mean. I haven't listened to as much of their stuff but I think I can already agree on that :'D
hm I did kinda like that second song, but not something I'd put up more often. the one they did a video for I feel like it doesn't always flow well. like the lyrics and the vocals sorta feel weird together :'D I remember you once shared some stuff from their earlier days and from waht I remember that was a lot more raw black metal sounding?

awh nice ! and I like the majority of their stuff too, always a good sign when you can go through an album without wanting to skip half of it def a favorite in the goth rock catagory, another one I got a lot into is Fields of the Nephilim ^^

Yeah they started from this full out black metal sound in the early 1990s and then transitioned slowly from gothic undertones to this like heavy rock/metal bleh something. 1996-2000 is their best period in my opinion.

ah yeah the same happened to other metal bands that had a blend of black and gothic styles, there is this point where both are nicely balanced but in a lot of cases they just transition into that really generic sound that we have more then enough of already :/

I'll practice, the main problem is that I can't imagine anything and then draw it down. I always need to draw some random lines and then work something out from there :/

ah that's good to hear no problem oh I used to own that tablet! mine eventually had technical issues though so I send it back and got another tablet in return. hope it wasn't something that happens often O_o it's an intuos too but a newer model, it's black and white. XD

you'll figure it out, I guess that eventually will come to you ^^ working from references is a good way to improve too
