I've had a few people ask about the incense I use to get the smoke in the altar photos I have been taking. While it's true you can get incense at places like WalMart for as little as a dollar for 40 sticks, not all incense is the same. Some fragrances are better for helping your mind focus on certain types of workings versus others. Some brands smell better than others, and some produce a "richer" smoke than others.
In terms of photographic effects and when using the smoke for scrying, the latter is especially important.
Both in terms of fragrance quality and smoke quantity, I have found Wild Berry (www.wild-berry.com ) incense to be what I prefer. I get them at the Psychic Eye Book Shops in Las Vegas. They are 5 for $1 there currently.
