Oh, no, I didn't use it because it's French. Era is a period of time, and age is a length of time. They're sort of synonymous with each other, and I liked the way it sounded.

Aww thanks, I'm glad you're enjoying it! If all goes as planned, the next chapter will be up within the month. I try to have my chapters have 4-5 major scenes with a couple minor scenes in between, or if I have 1 or 2 scenes, the chapter will be usually 9-12,000 words. This chapter is very hard for me to write; it has a different tone toward the end of the chapter, and I'm experimenting on how I want the reader's overall mood to be. But I haven't forgotten about Loving Hate, life has just been crazy, and I needed a break from writing chapters to actually living the real world to experience the feelings and moods I want to incorporate into Loving Hate.
