# About me
Hi guys and thanks for stopping by! My name is Anette and I'm a girl in college whose reason to get up in the morning is art and singing.I love to tell a story on canvas. My brush is my pen and canvas is my paper. I have 1000 different ideas and story lines swirling in my head and putting a brush to canvas is my way of telling a story and letting the world see inside my mind and the inner workings of my day dreams and imagination. It's easier for me than words, and sometimes, it means more. A picture really does say 1000 words. When I get up each day to work on a painting, I know I have a reason to live that day. Not that I don't any other day, but on days when I create art, I especially feel that way.
I create paintings and drawings in pastel, graphite and charcoal. I also dabble in photography, fashion design, and jewelry design!
I'm self taught and I've been drawing seriously since Oct. 2012. I took a 2 year break so I've been drawing about 2 years. So far, I've only done traditional art. My hobbies are painting, drawing, (of course!) playing the piano, sewing, singing, dancing, practicing contortion, writing, and doing martial arts. My goal is to create photo-realistic art and perfectly re-create the human body in clay, stone, on paper, and on canvas. I'm a musical theatre major in college and loving it. I wouldn't mind being on Broadway with a side career as an artist. But maybe art will take over, who knows? I secretly want to be in the Louvre someday.
