Fine. Had my Wolfenstein fic, and getting interested in games I've missed like SOMA and a little of Aliens Isolation. Prey isn't the best as you said but it's real interesting. Oh, yeah. I hear that ex-Irrational Games devs are behind an upcoming game called City of Brass. Has a Prince of Persia flavor.

I've been playing the new God of War which I like way more than the past ones. Making him a grumpy old dad is way better than his one dimensional self. I got SOMA when it first came out. I also have some problems with that one, but I wont say anything for now because of spoilers. I have never played a Prince of Persia game but thats neat they are making something like it. I know some fans of the series.
I am really looking forward to some of the Love Craftian inspired games coming out. I am also excited I finally know when they are releasing ZOE 2 on ps4 in sept.

There's another one named The Sinking City, where you play a character dressed like Indiana Jones but looking more like a detective traversing a flooded metropolis by motor boat. (By the way, the Indiana Jones style get up was actually popular in the West, especially in cold regions in Europe where the leather jacket provides warmth).
I don't know if you like the STALKER series but STALKER 2's recommencing development.
I wonder what other old games are making it to the PS4.

There's so many coming out that I am to tired to pull up my list at the moment. And for games old games coming out. I really wish they didnt get rid of viseral. I would have loved the deadspace series to have had a hd rerelease

Interesting. I haven't heard of The Works of Mercy. Unique twist in a horror movie where you play the killer rather than their prey. There's also another PT-like mystery game where you play a detective investigating a case in Roswell, New Mexico called The Peterson Case. Given it's Roswell, I expect to see or hear aliens.

I'm sorry if I haven't replied right away to this message but it took me a while to think of it: Works of Mercy has you play a *reluctant* killer, where you must kill in order to save a loved one held hostage, while you solve the mystery: why you? It sort of inspired from Saw, Old Boy, a manga based around a complex revenge plot, Manhunt, and Nick of Time. This is clearly an ambitious game, at least to me.

Hopefully it will be good. This one is def up my friends alley so I've been keeping him updated on it. Agony comes out tomorrow so we will be playing that to tide us over. I have mixed feelings about it because the more I saw of it the less I was excited for it, but I shall give it a change anyhow.

There's this new game being Demo'd. It's name is beware and it involves driving 50-style car to escape your pursuers who won't stop. We can name it Mafia-hit Simulator or for more paranoia McCarthy Simulator since it makes me feel of the Red 50s craze.

There's another "horrorish" driving game called Dead End Road. I haven't played it I just remember that it came out. They both seem interesting though. Almost done with Agony and It's honestly disppointing and frustrating to play. The depictions of hell in a lot of these games really take a lot from the same sources. I'd really love one based on whimsical and surreal as Hieronymus Bosch paintings just to do something more fresh. The game Baraque kinda did this with the characters and enemies. The enviroment was kinda lacking because it was a rpg/roguelike game and your'e ascending levels in a tower.

People these days are taking horror to unexpected new directions.
I found why Agony and Scorn gave my brain an itch: there's a game called Shadow Tower Abyss, released 2003. The objective of the game is to reach the top of the tower and escape and you are provided with 500 weapons to do that. Moreover, it was an early game of the makers of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, you can see the elements they used in their future games in that forgotten gem.
Have I told you of another oldie, Realms of the Haunting? It's a pre-1998 game, 1997 to be exact (1998 was the release of Half-Life, which would introduce elements that defined FPS conventions since.

I do like the transfer of bodies in Agony, but they over all playstyle needs some patch work. I hit so many bugs while playing that it kinda ruined the first play through. I remember shadow tower of the abyss. A friend of mine had a copy.
I just learned there was a Blade Runner point and click adventure game that came out in 1997 that was pretty good. I don't know how that one got by me.

Still, it's unique given the rarity of quality games from Eastern Europe though it could be changing. I just hope they get it right in the end since it's a daring idea they're going.

Think it has a feel of Dishonored and Amnesia, but set in 80s Britain and with political thriller replacing horror as main genre. Personally, it reminds me of another old game, Floor 13, only you play as the director of a secret police-like entity that uses different means such as murder and blackmail to protect the status quo. And there's Republic: The Revolution, basically Sims being set in a post-communist European country and doing politics.

Ive played some the combat doesnt really feel great tbh its really clunky and sluggish. But its still interesting to play. Overwatch had a event so I was trying to get all the skins and emotes from that instead of playing XD

Well, there's two horror games that caught my interest: Call of Cthulhu (2017) and Ad Infinitum. First one's a Lovecraft-based mashup of Bioshock (without weapons and plasmids), Amnesia, Dishonored (without agains weapons and abilities), and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. The other is about Slendie's time in the trenches.

I am really looking forward to evil within 2 the first wasnt the best and had way more potential than the game excecuted but they 2 one is a lil more hopeful specially since it doesnt look like a gray scale bore anymore

Seems everyone complaining about CoD: WWII double standard on female soldiers and Nazi Zombies. Well, not without reason since female soldiers make more sense in the Red Army and the various Resistance forces during the war while zombies have long been established in the franchise. The female soldier models are for me, I suspect, came from such gimmicks in Korean MMOFPSs where the choice for female character models are available.

I think its cuz most people complaining are sexist gamers :/ there was a bunch of them mad in overwatch because 3 new heros were female in a role when there are so many male characters in the game already hahaa. I havent seen any of the model for Cod I dont plan on playing any of those game. If they are respectable models and they have actual good roles for them then kudos on them for sticking to their guns and not changing cuz manbabies are crying on the internet. On another note I finished playing I have no mouth and I must scream now I am replaying ff12.

I've also looked an obscure and rather weird game from 1996 called Drowned God: Conspiracy of the Ages. A classic point-and-click and only one playthrough on Youtube available. Really fun without fully comprehending the plot. Then there's Realm of the Haunting, a first attempt at creating an intelligence fps game, integrating combat with puzzle-solving, exploration, and comprehensive storytelling. Has some nice live-action cutscenes.

yeah now that obscure has more game content out its really giving me blade runner vibes. I think I have actually seen a lil bit of realm of the haunting a couple years back in a history of gameing vid .Lately Ive been looking at indie games based around the human mind like depression and dissociative identity disorder. I also refound a game I've been trying to remember for the past couple years called Void. I never actually figured out what it was about, but now that I know the title I am going to look into this week.
