I'm 17 years old. XD I'm a will-be senior in high school and I've been drawing animals and other things since I was about 4 or 5 years old.
My main thing is actually wolves, but this account is not here to focus on wolves. Nor is it to focus on Danny Phantom, Doctor Who, Stellar Knight, Polterkits, or human beings. This little account is for my dear little mousey friends. XD
Musical LikesI am a hard rocker and metalhead. Yes, I may draw well the cute and the cuddly, but I listen to some heavy stuff. XD Overall, however, I have a pretty variant style of musical tastes. I not only enjoy music from hard rock to metalcore (my preferred genre range), but I also enjoy classical, any number of electronic genres, jazz, gospel, southern gospel, contemporary, et cetera. XD The only genres I'm not too big on are country and pop, and even then neither of those is overly irritating to my ears. Well, modern pop is pretty irksome to me...

My MissionBasically, while designing the ideas for this mouse story and its characters, I was wanting something different than the usual. Though really, with such a "errybody's doin' it" thing as talking mice, it's hard to avoid cliches. (And I am an avid hater of cliches in anything... I have discarded tons of stories simply because I knew it had been done before and will be done again many times.)
But usually when people do talking mice, they do it like, Tom and Jerry, or Disney style. Or it's either in a fantasy-type setting, medieval-like, or Victorian era.
With those things in mind, I can sort of know where to start with my story and character designs. The style is a criss-cross of those classic talking mice of common knowledge and a semi-anime type style. Now, it's not manga or anime, but I incorporated my favorite bits from that art style into these characters. The fur and facial features, primarily, but the majority of it is done in a traditional "toon" type style. I don't know about you, but I think the style is attractive. ^^
As for the setting, I'm aiming for a semi-modern yet punkish setting. I've got the medieval mixed with the Victorian all right, but then I'm throwing in elements from the 1970s and modern day as well, plus the industrial feel of the 1990s. Why do I identify 1990s with industrial?

There isn't a clear story at this time, but that's sort of where I'm going.
Rules and RebellionRule #1: I am an insaniac.
Rule #2: I'm proud to be an oddball.
Rule #3: It is my resolve to rebel against the world. Yeah, I'm one of those weirdos. Not entirely, though...
To "rebel against the world" is basically to be the ultimate counterculture. Now you see, when the culture goes one way, I go the other. Now before you think of me as a punk, here's some pointers:
Most people out there are punks, so what's the logical thing to do? Not be a punk.
Right now in the USA, the trend is to dress in bright, flashy colors and tight jeans, if you're a girl like me, anyhow. So what do I do? I wear earthy tones and sweatshirts, and loose clothing. I can't stand tight clothes.
Culture says "sex and sex and sex and sex and sex and waddo we have here, MORE SEX!"
I say "What's the big deal with being so sex-centered? Keep that in the bedroom out of my sight!"
You get what I'm saying, right? Counterculture isn't being a punk, it's just being the opposite of what your culture likes and wants you to be.
FaithI am definitely a Christian. I don't just say that to say that, I really am. Now I ain't religious. Christianity isn't about doing enough good things to get you into heaven. Not nearly as complex as that. Not complicated at all. I mean it.
Who needs complexity anyway? XD Complexity = Automatic failure to understand and failure to meet expectations.

Genre PowerI adore fantasy and sci-fi. Doesn't mean I believe in aliens though. XD
Also, further in, I like time travel stuff, steampunk, and stories about human morality.
