bak-san [2009-09-28 07:11:46 +0000 UTC]
- Bak strolled by a door to a room containing a large couch and the back of what looked like Cross Marian's head. Curious, he poked his head in to find the General sprawled out, surrounded by wine bottles -

Though I'm not familiar with these "new" Japanese subcultures the youth of nowadays seemingly "worship" like mindless automatons, I recall that this tendency is by no means related to true "love" β₯
Romanticism is something more subtle than passion for the flesh, and anyhow, if I ever found a "club" for humans, I would make sure that there is a giant meat grinder on the other side of the threshold of entrance. In other words, things like these is what makes us to think that humans are just depraved beings beckoning for a swift exterminium. Their twisted minds needs of prompt deletion and conversion into better less "lusty" individuals β₯
((OOC: No problem. I like to play with people all around dA using our characters. Personally, I love to make crossovers β₯ ))

Lionsong In reply to DukeOfMillennium [2009-05-06 19:08:25 +0000 UTC]
Dear Earl, though I too disdain this falsity and blind worship that may inhabit these clubs, I still realize that for all the brashness and stupidity of fangirlism and the other obsessions of the human race, there is a great beauty in the admiration and love underneath this perversion. For all the great sins of humanity, their one great virtue is the ability to love with all their soul, to just give in to one's heart desires. And though these clubs may only be mere farces in comparison to true love, but they are still a type of love.
Even the poor souls in your twisted akuma can learn to love, as we have seen by the lovely Eliade. For it is in love that calls in sorrow that your dear akuma are brought into this world. You twist and distort love not much unlike these silly fangirls, but for much darker deed that their idle fantasies and are thus much more sinful creature than them.
((Sorry if I am going to far into this, I also love good debates even if you are playing the devil's advocate. Thanks for being willing to play with me, I enjoy seeing you guys RP though I never have the time to do so myself.))

You say that leaving yourself into the lust and desire for the flesh is part of the great virtues of humanity? My, I believe you need some lessons of "moderation" β₯
While they greatly indulge into the pleasure of the flesh, like everything else took in excess, they blind themselves from the real virtue behind the love of one soul for the another, corrupting themselves by frolicking into the sin β₯
Is this seed, this same sin which crystallizes within their hearts which causes the pain and sorrow brought by the grief of the loss. As every other power, this power stored by their sins during their lifetime turns into an important source of energy for my dear akuma, indeed. It is a question of "karma" some would say β₯
The souls inside the akuma aren't used to just fuel them. They aren't weapons, but you might like to think otherwise, and that's fine ~ β₯
Eliade? I can't remember the names of the thousands of akuma under my control, and anyway, their human names aren't that important once they reach certain stage of evolution. They are converting themselves into something more transcendental and exalted, and leaving behind all their past humanity is a continuous process and an essential step.
An individual akuma is nothing, and its feelings are meaningless and devoid of a purpose. As long as they stay romping in old human desires, their fate will be mercilessly sealed by their own sin, which means, to be plunged into oblivion without a ticket of return β₯
((OOC: No, it is OK. I also love these kinds of debates, and mostly I love to try to portrait the opinions from the point of view of different characters. Obviously, I think differently to the Earl, but I can't prevent to be IC when it is needed (and wow, Earl is having too much patience with you right now -titters- ))
