Pfffft, you are not! Doing that with Bryn was something I would do with one of my characters. I definitely see your point, and I honestly hope you do choose to post the alternate ending where he does die. x3 When I actually get some books out(if, I mean), I'm scared to death I'll have to move often because I'll be receiving death threats because of all the characters I'll be killing off... But, in all seriousness, don't change your writing if you don't want to. You're not going to please everyone, and if you only focus your time and energy on constantly doing what the fans want, and not what you want, you'll make yourself miserable to the point you don't want to write anymore. I haven't nearly been that bad, but I've come close.
