Have you ever heard of Animorphs? It's about these 5 kids who get the power to turn into any animal they touch. They have to use this power to defeat evil aliens. However if they stay in an animal morph for over 2 hours they're stuck as that animal.
During their adventures they actually get bird morphs. Tobias chose a Red-tailed hawk, Rachel chose bald eagle, Marco and Cassie both chose Osprey, and Jake chose a Peregine Falcon.

Yeah, it was Tobias. At least he got stuck as a really cool and fun morph. I think it would be fun if I could ride the thermals like he could.
