Hey there buddy chum pal, I have a question. Since you seem to be really good at creating glowey effects using the sketchbook app, I was wondering how to create that glowey effect on the skin of my character in my current comic, like which brush would you recommend for that?

So to create the glowy bits of refection(drifter's helmet) I use the air brush and a really light color(the color of what is glowing) on it's own layer. Then I change the opacity till it looks right. You may repeat the steps and uses a brighter color and color less as needed. a simillar process can be used to make shadows.T o make things like the glowy sword I had a solid colored sword. On the layer below it, I used the air brush to make aura around the behind of it. Mess with the opacity of the aura and flatten he two layers. Then on the layer above do similar and mess with he opacity. For added effect, I duplicated the top layers and zig zagged a light eraser through it and messed witht he opacity to get that uneven sharp light effect.
I hope that made sense. Most of this I learned from youtube and even more by trial an error.
Most of this uses either of the two air brushes. make it look like light spray pain maybe.
