# About me
Hi there. I studied Animal Bioscience and now work as an Animal Technician and volunteer as a Wildlife Carer and Rescuer. I am most interested in wildlife, ecology, conservation, and animal welfare. Art and craft are hobbies which I am self-taught in through experience.
I prefer traditional drawing, and am most confident in lead and charcoal pencils, although I do also sometimes dabble with colour progressos, pens, and digital art. I tend to draw animals, both real and fantasy, occasionally trying something different.
Besides drawing I also enjoy making handmade greeting cards, which I've been doing since I was in primary school, usually for friends or family. As part of this I've taken to quilling and built-up writing.
Other smaller pass-times include taking photos of animals and the environment, story and poem writing, ice skating, and skiing. I sometimes share my better photos on DA, but I keep my other smaller hobbies to myself.
