I don't. Tite Kubo knows exactly what he is doing. He hasn't made Bleach like this so far to it always him ending up saving Rukia, and he is just blantly ignoring Orihime's feelings all the time. (poor Orihime) As you can see with the shojo-ness, it was put on BOTH panels for a reason. Even Orihime, back when she was talking to Rangiku about being jealous of Rukia, sees their relationship something else more than nakama.

Which gives us everything that follows;

-Memories in The Rain (IchiRuki; Kaien's death, Masaki's death, granted, Inoue lost her brother, but it didn't seem to play a huge role as the others.)
-Black Sun and White Moon (IchiRuki; ying & yang, female representing the darker part (the moon), while male represents the lighter part (the sun). Ying & yang is suppose to be a reunion between male and female, symbolizing love.)
-Ray of Light (IchiRuki; even Tite Kubo said it himself. His exact words were as it follows: "Rukia is suppose to be a ray of light for Ichigo, which I think really suits her." And it even shows in the anime, she is a ray of light for him, as always.)
-Death and Strawberry (in the beginning of the chapters, the title was exactly this. Even in the fourth movie, Tite Kubo illustrated "Death & Strawbery" on Ichigo's shirt. This given with all the spoilers for the fourth movie; I'm overloaded with confidence in the pairing.
-Red String of Fate/Destiny (the gods tie a invisible red string around a man and a woman who are destine to be soul mates and one day marry each other. Granted, the last part would never happen, as much as we wanted it to, but this alone is symbolizing a lot. In FtB, Ichigo is the only one that can connect with her on that level because of the red string of fate/destiny. The first ending of Bleach, Rukia is holding it, and lets it go. Symbolizing that she let Ichigo go when she left. But they are always still connected.
-The Sand and The Gears (a pilot chapter/episode where Ichigo is seeing in his point of view Rukia as the gears, that turns time (destiny) and his as the sand, flowing through it. (They are moving through destiny together.)


Why would Tite Kubo make Ichigo and Rukia so compatible in the anime and manga, just to make Orihime jealous so she can end up getting the guy?
