Ah nonsense! I think "great" is a proper term for your work regardless of what you may think. Greatness is a subjective thing so there isn't a clear example for us to follow behind. Everyone on here has their own weaknesses and strengths but it's a matter of practicing our craft that we get better. So don't sell yourself short bud!

Honestly the shots I really love I'll post and get a meh response and others I'll just toss up here to get 'em off my phone and folks will eat them up, so I've come to the conclusion that I'm clueless and I should just do me and peeps will like what they like. I have a blast just playing and posing and taking pics anyway

No thanks necessary! In a world filled with people with their head up their butts there's no use in adding to their numbers you know. I always admire those who enjoy their craft for the sake of just pure enjoyment so I always motivate them when I can.
To be honest I rarely get any sort of huge response on my shots but it doesn't bug me because I'm doing it for the fun of it. I remember when I first started taking photos of my figures I was so fixated on the number of likes and followers I got for my shots. It got to the point where it ruined the fun of it all so I scaled back and refocused my view of my hobby. Not to hate on those who care about those things but it just isn't for me at the end of the day. I'd rather build relationships with a few people who care about their work than those looking for fame or recognition. Haha pardon my rambling

No worries, I feel the same way. Always fun to just share the hobby with folks on here and never ceases to amaze how many ideas and how much inspiration I can glean from stumbling upon random artists I would've never known otherwise. The favs aren't really a big deal for me other than I organize my gallery according to likes so it's just more of an OCD thing I guess lol

You are too kind! I think your work is fantastic! I love your use of dioramas and your ability to showcase the figures personality. It's something I struggle with in my photos which is why I focus on lighting haha.

As someone who has never really been all that talented at drawing or painting I feel like this type of photography is the closest I'll get to making art so it's always a pleasure when somebody else appreciates it.

Now that's something I can agree with! I totally know what you mean! That's why I'm so grateful that there are places where we can come to together and showcase our art. It provides an opportunity for us to share ideas, tools, and appreciation for each others craft. Also at the end of the day I view art as the creation of something regardless of the medium. With cameras as our tools and the world as our subject we can truly capture moments in life. Anyways rambling aside it's always an honor to support those who genuinely love their craft so you'll have my support!
