Hi! I am a new-ish artist... but God has blessed me with a desire to draw since I was a little girl. I have never had an art class. I hope to take one sometime during high school though. I love to read... so I will probably be drawing a lot of characters from books. I hope you like my art, and I am welcome to tips.... SERIOUSLY. :) Thanks!

I know it's cliche but I learned a lot just from practicing and drawing everyday. Carrying a sketchbook around really helps. I definitely think drawing from real life observation (and then applying what you observe to your imagination) is the best way to learn though! c:

Also I'd recommend checking out this site ; Go back in the archives and then move forward...read everything. It's immensely helpful and he gives so much advice that I wish I'd knew when I was just starting out. c:

Hi!! Let me just say..... this is such a huge complement and I do not deserve it!! So thank you for making me smile!! Glomp! Glomp! Glomp! Glomp! Glomp! I looked at your gallery and I don't think your art is bad at all :D (Big Grin) I would just recommend looking around DA at different artists that you like and also look at TON of tutorials (which is what I had to do). Find what you like and don't like and then work on your style. Finding your style is tough... Ha I'm still trying to find mine :) (Smile) Also it helps if you have paper with you at all times so that you are constantly drawing from real life all around you. Just don't give up and I PROMISE you will see improvement. I know I improved a lot doing those things. Sorry for rambling and I hope I have helped :D (Big Grin) Feel free to talk to me anytime!!

Since I just got out for Christmas I plan on posting some stuff :D (Big Grin) I also plan on reading Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare (So excited!!!!!) Have you read anything by her? Also, I just posted a drawing of Annabeth (from the Percy Jackson books) if you want to check it out :) (Smile) Ha ha I am so glad that someone likes my art!
