I gave that tip to someone else too and she was very happy with it.
well if you take my Escalayer by an example: [link] the hairs outfit are done with the same color and pushed harder on it at the shadow areas.
But with characters who have dark colored hairs or outfits, I use black or an other dark color at the shadow areas. (Like my Suzuna Kuraki [link] and Ryofu Housen [link] )
