✿>Here she was, flying through the most empty depths of space itself. covered head to toe in protective armor with her breathing EPP secured on her back. She scanned the solar system after her ship exited FTL. Her target: a barren planet around a gentle star. She had taken a job as a protective guard for some architect. They must be out of their minds to build here. Nevertheless, she beamed down in a streak of green light and landed in the barren dusty wasteland, where no life may live.

『和』The Hylotl was equipped with some type of matter manipulator. Customized to some degree to set it apart from others. Nonetheless, it was an uncommon device for sure.
『和』It was an ambitious project for sure, but she was determined to terraform this world into something truly beautiful. It was a blank canvas eager to be touched upon with Yuki's own brush of life. How exhilarating! The drapes of her robe and the fins on her head blew to the aside as the hired guard beamed down to her side. She went to greet her, but was rather surprised to see that they sent a uh... Floran. Not that that mattered or anything.
"Ohhhh, Hello. You must be the one they sent, correct?"

✿>The floran stood up and looked at the Hylotl. She didnt look too happy to see her client, not in the slightest. Nevertheless, she was obligated to her job. She simply nodded to Yuki's question, holding a large gun with both of her hands, pointed down at the ground. She hissed softly under her breath.
"Floranssss name isss aloe. floran here to protect sssstupid fissshman."
✿>While hylotls were more subtle and sarcastic about their racism towards the plant people of the universe, florans were definitely more blunt about it.

『和』She simply scoffed. She figured Aloe's remark was simply down to her not being able to comprehend civilized culture. Nonetheless, this was already off to a bad start. On the site, there were a number of crates, presumbley filled with building materials.
"My name is Yuki. It will be a good expereince for you I'm sure. To be part of a creative processes. as opposed to destruction."

✿>She huffed and looked around the barren wasteland of a planet. Walking towards the crates and peeking inside, making sure the cargo was fine and in good repair. She let the gun rest on the dusty floor as she roots through the delicately crafted oriental wood, made by hand by delicate hylotl workers. Considering the image that florans have in their society, a hylotl could think that she would break the fine pieces. But no, she removed them from the crates and delicately put them on the ground without a scratch. She's unsurprisingly strong.

『和』She tensed up a little as she looked through the materials. But it was soon apparent that the Floran would do no harm.
"You'll want to keep a sharp eye, I saw suspicious activity in the surrounding area. Admittedly, I lack the courage to investigate thoroughly."
『和』She was under the impression that there would be no real danger when first coming here, yet come nightfall, she heard strange noises that couldn't be explained away by weather or other natural phenomenon.

✿>the floran seemed to listen carefully to their accounts of something going bump in the night. Picking up her gun, she sat on the now empty cargo crate in silence.
"Floran protect fisssshman. Fissshman hear noisesss? Get floran. Isss floransss job."

【和】 She covered her mouth her webbed hands, it was somewhat of a nervous habit of hers. She didn't really want anyone to get seriously hurt, but unfortunately the universe is not a so peaceful place.
"I cannot exactly pin point the origins, this planet is barren as you can see. "
【和】 She almost wondered if it was her imagination, in any case, she should begin what she came to do. She knelt down and opened a hologram with some detailed blueprints.

✿>The guardian floran peeked over the hylotl's shoulder, silent and observant. Just as silent as the florans in the hunt as they wait for their prey. Not even the rustle of her leaves was present. She seemed to understand the blueprints as any hylotl would. looking around at the barren planet, she shakes her head.
"Need flat sssstone foundation. Dust unsssssuportive for ssssuch big building..."

【和】 The Hylotl glanced back upon being startled by the Floran. She understood these plans? Further more, she noticed something she didn't. She became somewhat flustered and hunched over the display, giving it closer thought. How embarrassing.
"Huh... I, I see, then. Of course.. I got ahead of myself."
【和】She took a stylus and started making revisions.

✿> the Floran nods to herself and looks over the plan some more. Sitting at her side as diligent as a hound. Her big black eyes were still and unblinking, one could barely hear their breathing. If they even breathed at all.
"Floran thinksss that big building needsss more sssupport. Best make building sturdy than pretty, pretty buildings sssshatter under pressure...."

"It shouldn't be THAT fragile. Though... upon reflection. The wind patterns here, are... stronger than I am accustomed too..."
【和】 She retreated into silence, lost in thought. She lays down the display, as to not completely hunch over it. Most of the planets she's visited were essentially similar in terms of weather conditions, topography, life, and composition. But this was.. well... alien! Her face flushed somewhat.
"I am such a fool..."

✿>The plant nods to herself and stood back up. her body seemed to be covered in brown scratches, scars of once open wounds. this floran has been serving people for a while, but she's never seen anything alive on a barren planet. Needless to say, she is a bit perturbed.
