We can only hope so. I'm not in it for the popularity though. I'm here for feedback, some entertainment, some criticism, and to showcase my artwork to the world. And if I hit it big and become popular, I guess that would just be a bonus. (But I wouldn't let it get to me, and become one of those whores who abuse their power.)
